Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to design and website services provided by Simply Sasha Studio (“Simply Sasha”, “we”, “us” or “our”) to the client (“you” or “the client”).
By accepting a quote, confirming a project or paying a deposit, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Services
Simply Sasha Studio provides creative design and website services, which may include:
- Logo design and logo refreshes
- Branding and visual identity
- Business cards and stationery
- Flyers, leaflets and brochures
- Posters, banners and promotional materials
- Social media graphics and designs
- Website design and basic WordPress websites
- Other design services agreed between Simply Sasha Studio and the client
The exact services and deliverables included in each project will be confirmed in the relevant quote or proposal.
2. Quotes
All projects will be quoted based on the requirements discussed with the client.
Quotes are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated.
A quote covers only the services and deliverables specifically listed. Any additional work requested outside the agreed scope may be quoted separately.
Simply Sasha Studio reserves the right to review or amend a quote if the project requirements change significantly after the quote has been accepted.
3. Payment
A 50% deposit is required before work begins unless otherwise agreed in writing.
The remaining balance is payable before final files, website access or completed work is released to the client.
Work will not begin until the deposit and required project information have been received.
For smaller projects, Simply Sasha Studio may request full payment before work begins.
4. Project Timescales
Estimated project timescales will be provided where possible.
Timescales begin once Simply Sasha Studio has received:
- The required deposit
- Completed project information/questionnaire
- All necessary text, images and other client content
- Any other information required to begin the project
Delays caused by late feedback, missing information, unavailable content or changes to the agreed brief may result in the project taking longer than originally estimated.
5. Design Concepts & Revisions
The number of initial design concepts and revisions included will be stated in the relevant quote.
A revision means a reasonable change to an existing design based on the agreed brief.
Requests for a completely new concept, substantial changes to the original brief or additional work outside the agreed scope may incur an additional charge.
Simply Sasha Studio will work with the client to achieve a design they are happy with, but the client understands that unlimited revisions are not included unless specifically agreed.
6. Client Responsibilities
The client is responsible for providing accurate information, text, images, contact details, prices, dates, names, addresses and other content supplied for use within a project.
The client is responsible for checking all final designs carefully before approval, including:
- Spelling
- Names
- Contact details
- Telephone numbers
- Email addresses
- Website addresses
- Prices
- Dates
- Business information
- Images and other supplied content
Once a design has been approved by the client, Simply Sasha Studio is not responsible for errors that were present in the approved version.
Changes requested after final approval may incur an additional charge.
7. Logo Design & Branding
All logos created by Simply Sasha Studio are custom-designed specifically for the client.
Simply Sasha Studio does not create client logos using pre-made Canva logo templates or Canva logo elements.
Logo concepts are developed based on the client’s brief, business, target audience and chosen creative direction.
Once the logo project has been paid for in full, the client receives the agreed final logo files for use in their business.
Simply Sasha Studio does not guarantee that a logo will be eligible for trademark registration. Trademark registration and eligibility are determined by the relevant trademark authority and may depend on factors outside Simply Sasha Studio’s control.
Clients wishing to trademark their logo should carry out their own trademark checks and, where appropriate, seek professional legal or trademark advice.
8. Fonts, Images & Third-Party Content
Where a project includes fonts, stock images, icons, graphics or other third-party resources, those elements may be subject to separate licensing terms.
Any third-party content remains subject to the rights and licence restrictions of its original creator or provider.
Where relevant, Simply Sasha Studio will make the client aware of any licensing considerations.
The client is responsible for obtaining appropriate permission or licences for any content they provide to Simply Sasha Studio, unless otherwise agreed.
9. Copyright & Ownership
Until full payment has been received, all design work remains the property of Simply Sasha Studio.
Once full payment has been received, the client receives the agreed rights to use the final approved design for their business.
Simply Sasha Studio retains ownership of unused concepts, rejected designs, working files and design development materials unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Editable/source files are not automatically included unless specifically stated in the quote.
10. Portfolio & Marketing Use
Simply Sasha Studio may display completed client work in its portfolio, website, social media, marketing materials and other promotional channels to demonstrate its work.
Where appropriate, the client’s business name may be mentioned alongside the work.
If a client requires their project to remain confidential or does not wish for the work to be used in the Simply Sasha portfolio, this must be agreed in writing before the project begins.
11. Website Projects
Website projects will include only the pages, features and services specifically listed in the agreed quote.
Unless specifically included, the following are not automatically included:
- Domain registration
- Website hosting
- Premium plugins or themes
- Paid stock photography
- Ongoing website maintenance
- Ongoing content updates
- Social media management
- Email hosting
- Third-party subscriptions
- SEO campaigns
- Ongoing technical support
Third-party services may have their own fees and terms.
The client is responsible for providing website content, images, business information and any required login/access details unless content creation is specifically included in the project.
Simply Sasha Studio will make reasonable efforts to ensure a website functions as agreed at the time of completion but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation of third-party services, hosting providers, plugins or external platforms.
12. Website Content & Legal Requirements
The client is responsible for ensuring that their website contains any legally required information, policies, notices, terms, privacy information, cookie information or other business-specific legal content.
Simply Sasha Studio can assist with placing client-provided content onto a website but does not provide legal advice.
Clients should obtain appropriate professional advice where necessary.
13. Cancellation
If the client cancels a project after work has begun, the deposit may be retained to cover work already carried out and time reserved for the project.
If work completed exceeds the value of the deposit, Simply Sasha Studio may invoice for the additional work completed.
If Simply Sasha Studio needs to cancel a project before completion, any uncompleted work will be discussed with the client and any appropriate refund will be considered based on the work already completed.
14. Refunds
Deposits are generally non-refundable once work has commenced because they cover time allocated to the project and work undertaken.
Where a refund is appropriate, this will be discussed with the client on a case-by-case basis.
15. Communication & Feedback
Clear and timely communication helps projects run smoothly.
The client agrees to provide feedback and approvals within a reasonable timeframe.
If a project is significantly delayed because required information or feedback has not been provided, Simply Sasha Studio may need to reschedule the project.
16. Confidentiality
Simply Sasha Studio will treat confidential client information with reasonable care and will not knowingly share confidential business information with third parties unless:
- The client gives permission
- It is necessary to complete the agreed project
- It is required by law
17. Liability
Simply Sasha Studio will provide services with reasonable care and skill.
However, Simply Sasha Studio cannot be held responsible for losses, problems or interruptions caused by third-party services, hosting companies, domain providers, software, plugins, social media platforms or other services outside its control.
The client remains responsible for checking and approving all final content and designs.
18. Final Files
Final files will be supplied in the formats agreed as part of the project.
Typical logo deliverables may include suitable formats for digital and print use where agreed.
Additional file formats or editable/source files may be available at an additional cost unless specifically included in the original quote.
Final files will normally be released once the project has been paid for in full.
19. Client Approval
Before final delivery, the client will be given the opportunity to review the completed work.
Approval confirms that the client is happy for the work to be finalised.
Once final approval has been provided, further changes may be chargeable.
20. Changes to These Terms
Simply Sasha Studio reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions when necessary.
The Terms & Conditions applying to a project will be those in place when the project is accepted, unless otherwise agreed.
21. Acceptance
By accepting a Simply Sasha Studio quote, confirming a project or paying the required deposit, the client confirms that they have read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
These Terms & Conditions should be read alongside the individual quote or proposal provided for the project.
